Anyone up for a Contest?!

Win this book! |
As I announced last week, we're having a contest to celebrate the coming of my third book this Fall. What better way to celebrate the future than by honoring the past! So, here's your chance to win a copy of The Circuit Rider's Quilt book. It pays homage to a 19th Century quilt, its makers and the Circuit Rider it was made for. There's some fun history in it, but who are we kidding? What we really love is the beautiful applique! I step you though my version of machine applique, give you all the patterns to recreate the entire quilt or to just take your favorite blocks and make your own quilt.
I've heard tale of Circuit Rider groups and clubs out there. If you are part of such a group, I'd love to hear from you and post photos of your quilts. Send them along to me!
If you want a copy of the book, just leave a comment! I'll draw for the winner on Monday March 7! But, if you just can't wait until Monday, and have to have a copy now, you can buy one by clicking here.
thanks for the chance to win! I'd love a copy of your book.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win this lovely book! Red and green applique are among my favorite quilts. My 2nd quilt was dark green applique on muslin with dark red sashing. The green, which had come from my great grandfather's home in the Shenandoah Valley, was folded and in the manner of paper snow flakes only with more traditional 18th and 19th designs in mind.
ReplyDeleteVery neat book. Can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing this book. I love looking at the old quilts and the history that is connected with them --- and would love to win it!
