Modern Monday - Block 51

Block 51 - Posy
A posy technically is a small bouquet, but I always thought of it more as a fantasy flower, so it's perfect for quilting. It doesn't have to look like a real flower, it can be what it wants to be. This one wants to be cute!
I chose cheddar, dark orange and two shades of gray.
I decided to go with a more unexpected background for this block. I like this cheddar orange a lot! Cut your background larger than 6 1/2 inches. I press an X and a + in my background to aid in placement.  Access the applique pattern by clicking here. Prepare the shapes for applique and applique down in your preferred method. Trim to 6 1/2".
