Support Your Local Quilt Professional on Small Business Saturday
Each small business is an individual with a dream! My dream is to share the love of quilting with like-minded people by producing quality patterns, teaching interesting quilting techniques, and sharing my quilting stories!
Small Business Saturday is a great way to tell your independent business owner how much you appreciate what they do! The big box stores and major chains get all the attention on Black Friday, but the first Saturday after Thanksgiving is the day to support the smaller guys who do so much for you and your community.
By supporting your independent stores - either brick and mortar or online - you are helping someone fulfill their dream. As a small business owner in the quilting community, I know individual sales are our bread and butter. Just one sale can make a difference. Please support your independent quilt pattern designers on Small Business Saturday - if not me, then pick your favorite and buy just one thing from them on Nov. 25. It will make a difference!
Additionally during the 42 Quilts small business Saturday promotion, I am going to donate a portion of all earnings made Nov. 18-25 to my local (Harrisonville, Missouri) Head Start program. Head Start promotes school readiness for children under 5 from low-income families through education, health, social and other services. To me, helping children who don't have the advantages I did growing up is important, especially in my rural area. I'd love if you help me raise money for this cause through just one purchase!
